SMS Messaging Terms

Program

SwingOps provides text messaging so baseball and softball training facilities can communicate with the families they work with about lessons and accounts. When you receive a text through this program, it is sent by SwingOps on behalf of the specific facility you booked with or train at — the facility is who you're hearing from; SwingOps is the messaging infrastructure behind it.

Message types

Two kinds of messages are sent through this program:

  • Transactional messages — booking confirmations, lesson reminders, schedule changes, and payment receipts. These are tied to something you already did (booked a lesson, made a payment).
  • Facility updates — for customers who opt in, occasional messages about the facility you train with (camps, clinics, schedule openings, and similar updates).

How to opt in

You can opt in to SMS messages from your facility in any of these ways:

  1. Check the SMS-consent box when booking a lesson on your facility's SwingOps booking page. The box is unchecked by default.
  2. Check the same SMS-consent box on your facility's contact form. It is also unchecked by default.
  3. Reply START (or YES or UNSTOP) to a message you've received from your facility's number.

Consent is not a condition of purchase — you can book lessons and use the facility's services whether or not you opt in to text messages.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity, typically a few messages per booking (for example, a confirmation and a reminder). Frequency depends on how often you book and how your facility uses the program.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Charges from your wireless carrier are between you and your carrier — SwingOps and the facility do not charge you to send or receive these messages.

Opt-out

Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe — we honor it immediately on our inbound webhook, and you will not receive further SwingOps messages at that number. Reply HELP to any message for help, including how to reach your facility directly.

Privacy

Your information is handled per our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information, including phone numbers.
